Held from December 9–12 and ending in Mysuru, the TiE Global Summit 2024 (TGS24) was a landmark event in India's entrepreneurial environment. The AntraPrerana Summit at IISc, which focused on "Bridging Inner Transformation with Entrepreneurial Impact," kicked off the summit on December 9. Notable speakers at the main event, which began on December 10 at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre, included Bollywood stars Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur, who spoke about entrepreneurship through storytelling, and tennis great Andre Agassi, who offered advice on keeping a "Marathon Mindset." Important topics like talent, AI, the future of leadership, geopolitics, and the climate were covered in plenary sessions. New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way, National Stock Exchange CEO Shri. Ashish Chauhan, former MP and Minister Shri. Jayant Sinha, Dr. Balasubramanium, Member-HR, Capacity Building Commission, and former Microsoft India Chairman Ravi Venkatesan were among the distinguished speakers.
Key Highlights from TiE Global Summit 2024: Empowering Entrepreneurship Across Sectors
The TiE Global Summit 2024 saw the unveiling of several pivotal reports, including the KPMG-TiE report on the “Democratisation of Entrepreneurship,” which provided in-depth insights into global business trends and the evolving landscape of entrepreneurship.
The summit also hosted the Family Office Summit 2024, organized in collaboration with Chiratae Ventures, where the crucial role of family offices in shaping India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem was underscored.
In a thrilling competition, the TGS100 initiative celebrated innovative solutions across industries, with Breer Limited emerging as the winner for their groundbreaking technology that turns food waste into beer. Takeme2space and Proleri Technologies took second and third place in aerospace and agritech, respectively, sharing a total prize pool of ?50 lakhs.
Women’s entrepreneurship took center stage at the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition. Teri Sirset of DASI Simulations triumphed over more than 3,100 women-led startups from 62 countries, showcasing the incredible potential of women entrepreneurs worldwide.

Inspiring Rural Innovators and Futurepreneurs for a Better Tomorrow
The goal of the summit was to create bridges for future generations, not only to compete. At a one-day event on innovation and entrepreneurship, more than 700 rural kids from all around the state came together, and multiple teams pitched their products to audiences throughout the world. More than 5500 college students from all around the nation eagerly attended the Futurepreneurs Conclave, which was sponsored by DPIIT and ECGC CSR. There, they had an inside look at the potential of entrepreneurship.

Cultural Entrepreneurship Takes Center Stage at Mysuru Finale
The grand finale of TiE Global Summit 2024 took place in Mysuru, co-hosted by TiE Mysuru at the Infosys campus, with a special focus on cultural entrepreneurship. Set against the stunning backdrop of the historic Mysore Palace, the TiE Global Awards ceremony celebrated the achievements of some of the most distinguished entrepreneurs. Among the honorees were Rakuten’s Mickey Mikitani, Zoom’s Eric Yuan, and former Thermax Chairperson Anu Aga, each recognized for their remarkable contributions to the entrepreneurial world.
The summit had a significant impact, gathering over 678,000 words of wisdom over 40+ sessions and facilitating 26,000 business interactions through its technology platform. The event effectively illustrated how entrepreneurship encompasses creativity, teamwork, and constructive global change in addition to firm growth. TGS24's position as a crucial platform for promoting corporate innovation and sustainable growth was strengthened by the long-lasting effects of this convergence of varied viewpoints and expertise.
