Allegedly, this late-night movement was carried out to avoid attracting the attention of other prisoners or prison staff. The rapper was brought to the hospital for an MRI scan, a noninvasive procedure that uses high-resolution images from the MRI machine to examine the organs, tissues, and skeletal system, according to a report by Blast.

According to reports, the rapper was taken back to his cell a few hours later and did not spend the night in the hospital.

The exact reason Diddy went to the hospital is unknown, but one source told Page Six that he had a knee problem, while another told NYP that the rapper got into a fight in prison.

A Bureau of Prisons representative explained the situation that for privacy, safety, and security reasons, they do not comment on the conditions of confinement for anyone in their custody, including medical status or medical trips. The music mogul's team has yet to provide an explanation for his hospital visit.

Diddy has reportedly had knee issues for a long time. Over the course of two years, he had four surgeries to repair his knee.
