Many of his moments from the event are going viral and being widely discussed by netizens. From him hugging Joe Biden to his reaction when President Donald Trump introduced him; everything about him is garnering attention. But one thing that caught the attention of social media users was Barron Trump's apparent hair loss.

Is Barron Trump going bald?
A medical specialist is making a bold prediction about Barron Trump’s future and based on his father, he looks to be destined for a similar condition, according to a report in Irish Star. The 18-year-old drew a lot of attention on the inauguration day due to his seemingly thinning hair, which didn’t seem quite as thin a few months ago. A hair loss expert believes the observation may be correct and this might be a genetic condition. His hair loss specialist Dr Gizem Seymenoglu while speaking to Longevita Hair Transplant said Donald Trump's youngest son may be suffering from a bizarre form of pattern hair loss for males.

“I believe Barron is indeed suffering from hair loss - much like his own father. His frontal hair is likely thinning due to androgenetic alopecia or pattern hair loss, which is primarily a genetic condition that can be inherited from either parent,” she was quoted as saying by Irish Star.

Barron suffering same fate as Trump?
Bizarrely, however, Dr Gizem noted that both Donald and Barron Trump seemed to be experiencing female pattern hair loss - a much less common condition for men. She said: “Interestingly, it looks like both Donald and Barron have female pattern hair loss because their hair is thinning all over the scalp, and their hairlines haven’t exactly receded, which is typical of this type of hair loss.“In contrast, male pattern hair loss begins with the recession of the hairline. However, as can be seen, both father and son have retained their frontal fringe while experiencing thinning at the top,” she explained.
Dr Gizem explained what the root cause of the condition could be, pointing out that stress is often a contributing factor. “Stress could be further contributing to Barron’s hair loss, given that he is still a teenager, albeit a very high profile one who has just been thrust into the spotlight as the son of the President.”

People who suffer from female pattern baldness often seek non-surgical treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections or the recently trending polynucleotides. Dr Gizem also recommended stress management as a way for Barron to stop his hair loss, though with his family under a microscope for the next four years at least, it seems unlikely that Barron’s stress levels will be easing up anytime soon.
