"Their demands are justified. They want publishing of eligible and ineligible candidates. SSC has list which was given by CBI. We agree to that and SSC can publish it in its portal following legal advice. We think we can resolve this issue. The list can be given in two weeks. They have demanded publishing 22 lakh mirror image and we are ready to do so," Basu said.
The state government will go for review petition in the Supreme Court. "We will go for review petition-SSC, state government and the teachers will go separately," the minister pointed out.

A 12-member team SSC teachers and non-teaching staffs, said their meeting was partially successful and they will decide on the further course of action after taking to the protesting teachers.

"We had discussion about our demands in two part on our demands. SSC have eligible and ineligible list which will be certfied and published.. They have started to prepare the list . altogether 22 lakh OMR Sheets all will be done after taking legal aadvice," a teacher Chinmoy Mondal also said.
"On the legal matter, before going to Review petition, a discussion will be done with us. We will get relief after we win in legal way," Mondal informed.
Salary issue has also been discussed. "They are taking legal suggestions and the salary portal has been opened."
Meanwhile, protest continued with a huge number of teachers conducting sit-in protests in front of SSC Bhawan whole day today, demanding reinstatement of the teachers and release of OMR sheet for segregation of eligible and ineligible teachers.
A clash had broken out between teachers and the police outside the office of the District Inspector (DI) of Schools in Kasba area in Kolkata on Wednesday as they went to submit a deputation.
Speaking about the Kasba DI office incident Kolkata Police Commisisoner Manoj Verma said, "It was a teachers' programme and nobody expected that they would beat police personnel. They were beaten up. The police officer was beaten and he was hospitalized for three days. He has been injured badly and has been given bed rest for 14 days. He is unable to walk."
Asked about the police person who kicked a teacher, Verma said, "The police personnel, who has been alleged, was beaten and has injury in his ears."

"Kolkata Police worked in self-defence and used minimal force. The teachers broke the padlock and tried to enter the premises of the Kasba Di office. Force was used and the first barricade was broken. Scaling on the second barricade and breaking the padlock, some people tried to break the collapsible gate. Some people spoke about setting ablaze. Some outsiders were seen in the spot," Sub -Inspector Riton Das received several injuries and another senior official was also injured," the Joint CP-Crime said.
However, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
"Teachers and non-teaching staffs are very controlled. Our movement will continue. This is only a discussion. We will continue to stay on roads unless we get verdict in favour of us from Review from Supreme Court," said Mehboob, a protesting teacher, reacting too top cop allegations..
