He also said that those responsible for earlier attacks are still roaming free, and urged the government to stop making excuses and ensure the safety of all minorities, including Hindus.
“This killing is deeply distressing,” Jaiswal wrote on X, calling on Bangladesh to live up to its responsibility and take action.

Abduction and Killing of Bhabesh Chandra Roy
Bhabesh Chandra Roy, a Hindu community leader, was abducted from his home in Dinajpur district, northern Bangladesh. His body was found in Basudebpur village, located 330 kilometres northwest of Dhaka, on Thursday night.According to reports from family sources and local police, Roy was kidnapped after receiving a phone call around 4:30 pm on Thursday, which his wife, Shantana, believes was made by the attackers to confirm his presence at home.
Shortly after, four men on two motorcycles arrived and abducted Roy. He was taken to Narabari village, where he was severely beaten. Family members found him unconscious upon his return home and rushed him to a hospital in Dinajpur, but he was declared dead by the medical staff.
Roy had served as the vice-president of the Biral unit of the Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad and was an influential figure in the local Hindu community.
