Emami Ltd.(down 1.45%), Hindustan Foods Ltd.(down 0.50%), Euro India Fresh Foods Ltd.(down 0.46%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.30%) and Umang Dairies Ltd.(down 0.07%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 243.75 points up at 22405.35, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 699.83 points at 73837.73 at around 10:26AM.
Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 4.57%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 3.89%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 3.27%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 3.11%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 2.98%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.55%), State Bank of India(up 2.5%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 2.42%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.29%) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.08%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.7%) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.24%) were trading in the red.
