Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: HAL(Rs. 107.18 crore), RIL(Rs. 91.13 crore), Hyundai Motor India Ltd.(Rs. 85.85 crore), GRSE(Rs. 85.38 crore), Waaree Energies(Rs. 82.58 crore), Shriram Finance(Rs. 59.32 crore), Tejas Networks(Rs. 49.54 crore), Canara Bank(Rs. 46.64 crore), Spicejet(Rs. 40.76 crore) and Data Patterns(India)(Rs. 40.01 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:21AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 183.25 points up at 24222.6, while BSE Sensex was up 674.69 points at 79887.22 as of 11:21AM(IST)on April 28.

In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 3.99 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 2.64 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.39 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.88 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 4.69 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent) were among the top losers.
