A Sikh family in Canada's British Columbia province is facing deportation to India unless the government grants a stay or delay. Hardeep Singh Chahal, his wife Kamaldeep Kaur and daughter have been given deportation orders; they had been granted 10-year visitor visas and later work visas after which they applied for refugee status. They reportedly failed in their claim and two subsequent appeals because they had been unable to provide enough documentation.
