
Pahalgam horror: China urges India, Pakistan to ‘exercise restraint’ after deadly terror attack
On April 28, China’s foreign ministry urged both India and Pakistan to remain calm in the aftermath of last week’s deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu-Kashmir. Speaking at a regular press briefing, ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun welcomed any steps that could help de-escalate tensions and voiced support for an impartial investigation into the incident. Guo emphasized the need for dialogue and consultation to resolve the issue.
