
France PM Barnier loses no-confidence vote, what next for Prez Macron now?
The French government has collapsed after PM Michel Barnier lost a no-confidence vote. EU’s Brexit negotiator Barnier was appointed by President Emmanuel Macron three months ago. This makes Barnier the first French Prime Minister in six decades to be ousted after a no-confidence vote. His is also the shortest-serving one with a tenure of 91 days
