What is Stranger Things about?

The show, which first aired in 2016, follows the disappearance of a young boy named Will Byers in Hawkins, Indiana. As his family and friends look for Will, they encounter a girl with mysterious powers, called Eleven.

Eleven’s attempt to help Will’s friends search for him leads to the discovery of an alternate dimension called the Upside Down. What happens next is a journey full of suspense, supernatural abilities and terrifying monsters. Ever since it first aired, Stranger Things has garnered a cult following for its mix of sci-fi, humour and horror.

According to reports, Shawn Levy, who helmed Deadpool and Wolverine, will direct the sixth episode of Stranger Things season 5. On the other hand, Frank Darabont will helm episodes 3 and 5.
