According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2 earned Rs 8.15 crore on Day 10. The film has benefitted from a lack of big releases this week. Kesari Chapter 2 is based on the events of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. It is bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

The film opened with a collection of Rs 7 crore on April 18. Over the Easter weekend. Kesari Chapter 2 earned a total of Rs 29.50 crore.Its momentum appeared to falter from Monday onwards. At the end of its first week, Kesari Chapter 2 earned Rs 46.1 crore domestically. On Saturday, April 26, the film registered a growth of 76.54 per cent to collect Rs 7.15 crore. On Sunday, the Akshay Kumar starrer saw another jump in its earnings to mint Rs 8.15 crore.
On Day 10, the film had an average occupancy of 29.02 per cent, with evening shows registering the best footfall.

The Akshay Kumar starrer has grossed Rs 93.50 crore worldwide in nine days, as per Sacnilk. It is expected to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark easily. This is the second movie by Akshay Kumar this year to cross Rs 100 crore worldwide. Earlier, Sky Force, which hit theatres during the Republic Day weekend, collected Rs 150 crore worldwide.About Kesari Chapter 2
The movie is based on the book - The Case That Shook The Empire, written by Raghu and Pushpa Palat. It follows the life of S Sankaran Nair and his quest for justice for the victims of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. A former Indian National Congress president, Nair made efforts to hold British officials responsible for the tragedy.Kesari Chapter 2 is the second film in the franchise after the 2019 historical drama Kesari. Director Karan Singh Tyagi has revealed that more movies featuring “unsung heroes” would be made by the producers soon. He stated that Akshay Kumar will be part of future films as well.
