NFL Draft 2025: Schedule, draft order, top prospects, and more

With the NFL draft 2025 now less than a month away, general managers and top decision-makers in the National Football League (NFL) have now shifted their focus on team strategy for the next season to aim for the Super Bowl.

The Round 1 begins on April 24, with fans anticipating for some major buyouts.

NFL Draft 2025: Schedule

The event is scheduled to take place from April 24 to April 26 at the Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The lots will be surrounding Lambeau Field, Titletown and the Resch Complex.


As per the official NFL website, the Round 1 kick starts at 8 PM ET on April 24, followed by the Round 2 and 3 at 7 PM ET on April 25.

On April 26, Round 4 till Round 7 will take place, starting from noon.

NFL Draft 2025: Key prospects

Although not as strong at the top order as it used to be in earlier events, this time teams will be majorly focused on defensive and running back strategies.

According to CBS Sports, some of the top players in this year's NFL draft to watch out for include Travis Hunter Jr (Colorado), Abdul Carter (Penn State), Mason Graham (Michigan), Kelvin Banks Jr.(Texas), Will Johnson (Michigan), Will Campbell (LSU), Tetairoa McMillan (Arizona), Cam Ward (Miami), Jalon Walker (Georgia), and James Pearce Jr (Tennessee).

NFL Draft order

In the first round, the Tennessee Titans stand on top, with its key prospects for 2025 free agents being Quandre Diggs, Tyler Boyd, Dillon Radunz and Jerome Baker. It is followed by the Cleveland Browns that are in dire need at QB, OT, WR, RB, DL, and EDGE positions. Among its projected free agents are Jedrick Wills, Elijah Moore, Maurice Hurst, Nick Chubb and Jameis Winston.

New York Giants, on third order, are looking out for players at QB, IOL, CB, WR and TE positions. Some of its current picks that could become free agents include Darius Slayton, Isaiah Simmons, Adoree' Jackson, and Drew Lock.
